A Note From the Owners
As we prepare to close our chapter with Sunset Lanes in preparation for the grand opening of the upcoming KingPins Beaverton, we find ourselves reminiscing about the good old days when we first began our journey with this company. Not everyone knows this, but we started working in Guest Services at Sunset Lanes when we were just 16 years old. Our passion for providing family entertainment at Sunset Lanes prompted us to purchase the company together in 1998. We spent the next 17 years building a place where families and friends could simply enjoy their time together, whether it was on a competitive bowling league or just enjoying a casual game with a pint of beer. In 2015, we were fortunate to acquire KingPins Portland, and continued with our dream to offer our patrons a wide range of entertainment that could appeal to all ages. Since then, we have stacked up countless amazing memories, and saying goodbye to the name of Sunset Lanes is bittersweet for us, too. But when we were faced with the choice of closing our Beaverton location completely or starting fresh with a new state-of- the-art facility, we chose the option that would allow us to continue with our vision of providing that quality entertainment we strive for. It’s very important to us that all of the best aspects of Sunset Lanes carry over to KingPins Beaverton. You’ll immediately recognize our friendly staff, signature food and drinks, and warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are so thrilled to offer our patrons a new place to call home, and for the new and exciting features KingPins Beaverton will have to offer. We can’t wait to start this new chapter with our community and we thank you for your years of continued support!
We Look forward to many memories to come.
