KingPins July 29th – 8:45am Practice

Sunset Lanes July 30th – 8:45am Practice

Teams will consist of 5 bowlers with a minimum 1 man, 1 woman and 1 senior (a senior must be a bowler 50 years of age as of the tournament date and is separate from the 1 man/1 woman requirement), and 2 other bowlers of any mix.

Teams will bowl two 6 game blocks. First block will be bowled at Kingpins on Saturday July 29, 2017. Second block will be bowled at Sunset Lanes on Sunday July 30, 2017.

Each game will be a position round. Total points will determine each position; all ties will be broken by pinfall. The first round will be a set by a random draw for starting positions.

7 points possible per game. Points will be awarded on an individual and team basis as follows:
One point will be awarded to the winner of each individual game.
Two points will be awarded to the winning team (based on total pins)

Total points will determine the Tournament Champions. In the case of a tie, total pinfall will be the deciding factor.

Entering team maximum average is 1040.

Use 2015-2016 composite average (includes verifiable Canadian Tenpin Federation rule 319f). If no average, we will go back one year using 2014-2015 composite average. If no previous year average, then will use current highest league average as of March 1, 2017 with a minimum 21 games. If none of these options can be met, men and senior will enter with 225, and women with 210.

There is one average break of 225 allowed per team. To clarify, you may have 1 bowler on your team with an average over 225, which is not a touring PBA member, that may come in with an entering average of 225.

The minimum entering average is 140. To clarify, you may have bowlers on your team that average less than 140, but they must use an entering average of 140.

No more than one touring PBA member per team, must use 230 as an average.

Failure to use the correct average will disqualify a team if the correct averages cause the team to exceed 1040 maximum.

No sport league averages will be used or Challenge League Average (no conversion will be used).

The tournament director reserves the right to re-rate any bowler.

USBC Rule 319a, item 2 ’10-pin average increase,’ will not apply.
